The Director, Enterprise Sales (Greater China) will lead Pinterest’s strategic accounts business for the region and serve as its senior internal and external representative. The role is accountable for the strategy, performance, and long-term health of Greater China’s largest and most strategic advertisers, directly owning the most significant account while leading two Senior Industry Managers across the broader key accounts portfolio.

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Managing Director, Greater China, this leader will work closely with global and regional Sales, Product, Marketing, Measurement, and Operations partners. They will define how Pinterest engages, retains, and grows its most valuable advertisers—building executive relationships, shaping joint business plans, and ensuring Pinterest becomes a strategic, differentiated growth partner for their businesses.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and grow the Greater China key accounts business, delivering quarterly revenue, retention, advertiser-growth, and product-adoption targets across the portfolio.
  • Directly own and expand Pinterest’s largest strategic advertiser relationship, serving as the senior executive sponsor and leading its commercial strategy, joint business plan, and long-term partnership health.
  • Define and execute the Greater China key accounts strategy, with clear priorities by advertiser archetype, vertical, market, and growth opportunity.
  • Own the key-account coverage model, including segmentation, service levels, account allocation, executive sponsorship, and capacity planning to maximize commercial impact and consistent client engagement.
  • Build, lead, and coach two Senior Industry Managers, establishing role clarity, high performance standards, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for priority advertisers in Greater China, building trusted executive relationships, aligning on joint business plans, and driving shared performance outcomes.
  • Develop scalable account-management processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms that enable a differentiated experience for priority clients while maintaining efficiency and rigor across the broader portfolio.
  • Drive performance through rigorous planning and analytics: set account-level goals and KPIs, analyze portfolio and funnel performance, identify growth constraints, and translate insights into prioritized actions.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline hygiene, account planning, and business-performance management; run regular reviews and lead intervention plans to close gaps.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Measurement, Policy, and Support to unlock advertiser growth, improve the client experience, and remove barriers to scale.
  • Represent Pinterest in senior client engagements and selected industry events, articulating a compelling point of view on Pinterest’s value proposition and business impact for advertisers.
  • Translate complex performance, measurement, and AI-enabled insights into clear commercial narratives and actionable recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of digital advertising, commerce, and AI trends, identifying practical opportunities to improve advertiser outcomes and strengthen Pinterest’s strategic relevance.

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, strategic partnerships, or sales leadership, with significant experience in the Greater China market.
  • Demonstrated success owning and growing large, complex strategic advertiser relationships, including executive-level engagement, joint business planning, and delivery against ambitious commercial targets.
  • Proven people-leadership experience building, coaching, and inspiring senior sales talent to deliver revenue, growth, retention, and advertiser-adoption outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the Greater China advertising, commerce, and performance-marketing landscape, including how leading advertisers evaluate and invest in global platforms.
  • Experience in strategic-account and portfolio management, including coverage design, segmentation, account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, playbooks, and business governance.
  • Ability to use data to inform strategic decisions and turn performance, measurement, and market insights into clear action plans for clients and teams.
  • Comfort operating in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment; able to navigate ambiguity and change while keeping teams focused on the highest-impact priorities.
  • Business proficiency in Mandarin and English.
  • Experience with CRM and analytics tools, such as Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, or similar sales-productivity software.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior internal leaders, C-suite client stakeholders, and external audiences.
  • Curiosity about evolving AI, digital marketing, and commerce trends, with the judgment to apply new tools and capabilities in ways that create meaningful client impact.
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel.
  • BA/BS degree.
